Is it possible to run Java applets in the Android WebKit Browser?
Is it possible to run Java applets in the Android WebKit Browser? If not does anyone know when java applets will be supported?

Android does not have a full Java VM, and therefore does not currently support Applets in the browser. While changing this is certainly possible, I have not heard of any plans to do so.

I'm wondering if it would be possible to run Java applets on Android? It would be most convenient if I could test a few things on the go, when I only have my tablet with me. I have tried AIDE and it doesn't seem to work. Thanks!
